Henry's blessing day
Henry was blessed April 27th 2014. We were able to bless him in our home with our families and it was really special. Henry has been such a fun addition to our family.

Cuddles
Baby Henry got lots of cuddles! My face pretty much shows how I felt about it. I don't like to be touched while pregnant. 
Ears pierced!
Molly decided that she wanted to get her ears pierced for her 6th birthday, so that's what we did. She seemed a little nervous, but didn't even flinch when it happened. If only she'd act the same way pulling teeth!Sweet Reed

Reed took a little while getting comfortable with preschool, but he eventually really liked it. Miss Valerie said he was the best singer in the class. Molly's first day of kindergarten
This poor girl fell and hurt her mouth so badly a few days before school started. She's a tough girl, but she was pretty miserable for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Stephens was her teacher and Molly loved school so much. She was sad whenever there was a break. Monday, August 5, 2013
Lemonade anyone?
Molly has been determined to have a lemonade stand. She had lots of
ideas. She was so excited about every last detail. She poured the
lemonade herself and was so proud when people stopped. Reed "helped" too! How could you not want to buy lemonade from these two?!
One Year
I can't believe it has been a year since we moved from our first little home. This picture makes me miss it so much! We had so many great memories there and met so many great friends. We weren't planning on moving, but we were always looking at houses. It was just something we did. One day I got a really strong feeling that it was time to move and it was time NOW! We were so sad. We had grown to love our neighbors and ward so much. We were really comfortable and the unknown is always scary. We got our house ready to put on the market right away. We figured that if we were going to do this, we should just get it over with. We found our new house the same weekend we put our house up for sale and we sold our house that Monday. It really worked out perfectly for us and really helped us feel good about our decision. It didn't hurt that we were close to the mountains and had more space to move around in. We moved to the area I grew up in and in a way it felt like I was coming home. Molly will go to kindergarten at the same school I went to and it has been nice to establish friendships with the kids she'll be going to school with. It really was perfect timing for us and I'm just so grateful for the guidance we received from our Heavenly Father.

The yard is one of our favorite things about our new house. The backyard is completely shaded in the summer. The fall was not as awesome with all the leaves, but we survived. The weeds at our old house were impossible to get under control and I don't miss that at all! At least leaves can be raked up!

Lagoon
We got to go to Lagoon for Brady's work this summer. Lagoon is one of my least favorite places. It is always so hot and the combination of heat and any ride at all makes me sick. It was such a different experience being there with our kids though. They had so much fun and it was great to see them enjoy it.

| Reed has been two for a few months now. What can I say...I'm totally on top of things. :) He is such a lovable little boy! He loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses. We are so excited that he is finally able to talk and we are somewhat able to understand him. I remember thinking that we were not going to go through that "grunting to get what you want" stage. We got the "screaming to get what you want" stage instead. Although he hasn't had a very large vocabulary, he has still always had plenty to say. It's never hard to find Reed in a large house or store. Reed is such a good little player. He can really entertain himself. He loves his blanky and sucks on his index finger and middle finger when he's tired. |

Cavity Free!
We all went to the dentist this month and NONE of us had cavities! This is truly something to celebrate at our house! I don't remember when the last time was that this has happened. Even poor little Reed has had to have a few fillings. It can get pretty exhausting and expensive going to the dentist every 6 months and then in between as well. I love these two! sometimes being a mom can be really hard, but then there are a million little moments that make it worth it!
A visit from the tooth fairy
Molly lost her first tooth! She was actually kind of sad about it. She didn't really know what to think. She's only four and isn't supposed to start losing teeth for a couple of years. Her front two teeth are crowns and the root of one just dissolved. It was wiggly for quite awhile. It drove me crazy! As a kid I would practically make my teeth get loose and then pull them out as soon as I could. I kept asking her if I could just pull it out, but she wouldn't have it. It finally fell out as she bit into a chicken nugget at burger king. I'm surprised she didn't swallow it. I wasn't there to witness this and when my sister sent me this picture it made me cry. I was so sad that I wasn't there when she lost her first tooth! You gotta love that toothless smile!

Happy Birthday Molly!
The cutest little 4 year old I know! I love this girl! She is all about Hello Kitty this year. She is such a big helper. The other night I was doing something downstairs and she asked me if I could get the napkins down for her. I went upstairs and she had been setting the table for dinner. She is such a little sweetheart. She has just turned into a little person and it makes me want her to stop growing!
I took a beginning quilting class and started making this quilt 3 years ago. It didn't seem very "beginner" to me, but somehow I got through it. I had finished all the squares during the class, but I hadn't put it together. I finally decided to finish it for Molly's birthday this year. She knew I was giving it to her and even helped me sew. Three years ago she sat on my lap while I sewed and this year she pressed the foot peddle for me.
Molly had a cat party with some of her friends. She was so excited and continues to thank Heavenly Father for her party in every prayer.

Santa
Reed was less than thrilled to see Santa this year. Molly was able to sit on Santa's lap without me and even almost smiled for the picture. Molly asked for a Hello Kitty piano and cowboy boots (cowgirl boots actually). Reed just wants Santa to stay at the North Pole.
