Happy Birthday Molly!

The cutest little 4 year old I know! I love this girl! She is all about Hello Kitty this year. She is such a big helper. The other night I was doing something downstairs and she asked me if I could get the napkins down for her. I went upstairs and she had been setting the table for dinner. She is such a little sweetheart. She has just turned into a little person and it makes me want her to stop growing!

Opening presents first thing in the morning.

I took a beginning quilting class and started making this quilt 3 years ago. It didn't seem very "beginner" to me, but somehow I got through it. I had finished all the squares during the class, but I hadn't put it together. I finally decided to finish it for Molly's birthday this year. She knew I was giving it to her and even helped me sew. Three years ago she sat on my lap while I sewed and this year she pressed the foot peddle for me.
I had everything done besides the binding two days before her birthday, but I had no clue how to do the binding, so I was beginning to think it wouldn't be done for her birthday. Molly kept telling me that I better work on her quilt so she could have it for her birthday. The night before her birthday she said, "This is my last night sleeping with my flower blanket because I will have my new quilt in the morning." With the help of my mother-in-law and friend Carrie and I can't forget YouTube I was able to finish it!

Molly had a cat party with some of her friends. She was so excited and continues to thank Heavenly Father for her party in every prayer.

she is such a big girl and so helpful, too! that is very impressive stuff with the quilt, nothing like our kids to motivate us to get things done sometimes, eh!

Awesome job Marsha!!! I made a baby quilt and it was so challenging! I admire you for making one that big! Molly is a cutie. Summy also loves Hello Kitty. It is crazy that they learn about these trends before they even go to elementary school.
