Happy Birthday Marsha!

Today Marsha turns the big 23 :)  I'm so lucky to have her as a wife and Molly is so lucky to have her as a mother.  She is truly da bomb and I love her.

So Sad!

Molly had her two month check up today. She had to get her shots.  Mommy did not like it and neither did Molly. She was so cute and happy just smiling and cooing at me right before the shots. It made it even worse. Maybe if she had been fussy before, it would have been easier. I'm just glad it's over. She was such a trooper. Molly weighs 12 pounds and 13 oz and is 24 inches long. She's in the 89th percentile in weight and the 95th in length. She's our big girl. We love her so much. She has made adjusting to parenthood so easy.

Molly sucking on her hand

Molly isn't a big fan of her pacifier, but sometimes she starts sucking on her hand like we're starving her.  We're not starving her--look at those cheeks!

Happy Molly

Molly has started to smile.  She does it often enough, it's just really hard to catch on camera.  She's usually pretty happy after she wakes up and gets done stretching.

Our little Valentine

Molly is looking for a Valentine.  Or, more accurately, someone to give her candy that her mommy and daddy like.

Sleeping Molly

Molly has been a very good sleeper lately.  Most nights she sleeps for about 6 or 7 hours, sometimes 8, sometimes 5.  And every once in awhile 3 and a half.  But overall she's been getting better about going to sleep without us having to go into her room to calm her down three or four times.

On a totally separate note, babies sure do have short arms.  There's no way Molly could put her hands together over her head.

It's official!

We are so proud of daddy! Brady graduated from the University of Utah in Computer Science in December. He now has a job with a company called Clearplay. He really enjoys his work and mommy and Molly are happy to have him home more often.

Four weeks old

Just hanging out with Molly on a Sunday afternoon. There's not too much to update.  Her sleeping patterns don't really have a pattern.  She slept about 6 hours one night this week, but then other nights she wakes up to eat at 3 in the morning and is wide awake after she eats.  But it's hard to be too mad because she's just so darn cute.

Somebody call the waambulance!

Since this is a rarity we still think it's funny.

Bring it on

Maybe Uncle Ben could teach me the triangle choke.

Hmmmm...

Should I poop now or after my diaper is changed? How about both.

New Year's Party

Molly and McKay partying New Year's Eve.  Molly wanted a kiss, but McKay wasn't interested.  He doesn't know what he's missing.  Maybe watching a diaper changing "incident" turned him off.

One week old

Molly is one week old today. The first few days home have felt a little overwhelming. We are so grateful for Heavenly Father for entrusting her little spirit to us. There are so many worries in being responsible for a baby.  Heavenly Father has been there to love and comfort us and to let us know that everything is going to be okay. We never knew it was possible to love somebody that we have known for such a short time so much. Molly has been good to us so far. We are sure that she is just taking it easy on us until we can get used to having a baby around. She has the baby stuff down...eating, sleeping, and looking cute. We love her so much and are excited for the adventure ahead of us. We are grateful for the support of all of our loved ones. We couldn't do this without you!

AHHHHHHHH!!!!
